i feel bad. just bathed. was supposed to drive al and myself home but you know, once i fall asleep, i'm like a dead log. al always let me drive when the car car hits HWY 1, but traffic is bad today so he told me to sleep first and he'll call me up when he gets tired. i knew it was going to be a bad idea. and so when al really did call me up, i remembered mumbering "let's sleep first and i'll drive later". i feel so bad, he's tired too. hmmm.... no more, "adeline, you sleep first"! i WILL drive once it hits HWY 1 from now on!
and we had a shocking bill for dinner at this chinese eatery today. $85 for a meal for the 2 of us. ridiculous man! but i guess we ordered too much. had a "mei chai kou rou" that's $18 and chicken, duck and roast pork skin combo that cost us $50 but we were not told the actual price! should have asked for the price before we ordered. chinese restaurants here are very "jiao hua". typical chinese. you will always get a shock after a chinese meal in almost every chinese restaurant and they usually don't show u the bill till you demand for it. hmmm.... lesson learnt. no more next time toO!
