just got back from my 9 hours of weekend sailing lessons. i'm tempted to join the BMW winter racing series. very tempted. but i's a whooping AUD$2000! hmmm... should i? biN thinks that it's not worth it cos people actually get paid to go race but i have to pay to race cos i'm not a professional. will think about it. and the whole race is starting from 23 april till 16 july. it's too long a period. i wanna go home. i wanna travel. what should i do?
anyways, al had his spinnaker lesson today and so i took his car out for a ride to the city. was supposed to get to chinatown's market city within 15 minutes from rushcutter's bay but i took 90 minutes to get there and 90 minutes to come back cos i was lost. i'm a total map idiot. seriously. i must admit that i can't read maps. i was so scard that i would end up at some shit place and i did. i actually drove across anzac bridge by mistake on my way seacrching for MC and went down to wooloomolloo on my way back to rushcutters. i circled around chinatown about 5 times but just couldn't find my way into chinatown so i gave up finally, after 75 minutes of struggle. i parked at UTS and i thought that i saw market city located directly behind UTS as shown on the map but it wasn't. it took me 15mins to walk from the car park to market city. by the time i got there, i think i look like a 'xiao zha bo' cos it was 15 degree celcius and i'm the only idiot wearing t-shirt and shorts walking around town and freezing my ass off! i looked pathetic. and so i needed some retail therapy to save my sad soul and bought 3 tops in 20 minutes. heh... and then went to the asian supermarket to get brahims, wan wan and loads of crap food. cost $65 though and it's all crap food, maybe it's comfort food. will give them some benefit of doubt. and i was seriously swearing at myself and the darn road naming systems when i was walking back to the car from market city cos i parked at thomas st and then it's not the thomas st that market city is on. what a dumb road naming system! 2 roads at different places, in the same area with the same names. and it doesn't lead to each other! and i was carrying so many things, food and clothes, and looked as though i'm running away from home with fully filled plastic bags. haiz...i'm just blabbering. it's 2 am in newcastle now. i feel cold.
